The only web site
on the planet dedicated to a little known band who has a high level
of name recognition among the inumerable masses.
35 Little
Ducks in a Basket was formed in March of 1987 by Jon and Steven
Mathewson and Steve Hinton. All three members were in high
school at the time. They recorded 3 projects: This is (is not) the
Tape Monastery Live at
Artatak (still available) They have played
numerous venues, including the Daily Double and Minerva Eagle's
club. Some of the tunes they became famous for were: Frog,
J&T, Styrofoam Cups, Cat Food, The Future, Dead Reaction, Nancy
Colors Eggs, and many others. The band worked with Kris
Barnette as an artist, and he is responsible for the art you see
below.
But all good things come to an end. And in 1991
the band broke up. Jon and Steven after several side projects
returned to work with each other musically in Mr. Willy
Cromelia's Flaming Snake Oil in 1996.
This page will soon be updated with more
historical erratta. If you have any questions contact Steven. |
