"I write, rarely dont write, paint, rarely dont paint." - A Stroke(trg, 8/29/03)

Sounds like you are always creating / writing. What inspires you to create?
Life. With all of it's complexity, life does. Especially the innocence of children, the love between family members, friends, especially intimate friends, as well as death, both poetically and literally.

You are very well read, what are you currently reading (books etc) and
what are several books that have really helped to shape your worldview /
purpose in life?

'Under the banner of heaven', by Krackauer, a journalistic view of the Mormon Church as it stands uniquely an Amercan creati! on and the recent murders done 'in the name of God' from the perspective of it's origianl founders. The 'Short Stories of Dotoeyvsky', especially 'The Gentle Creature'. 'The Brothers Karamozoz', by D. too. The first third of a recent biography on Father Seraphim (Rose) by Monk Damascene. Everything by Walt Whitman, especially 'From pent up aching rivers'.

If you were King for just one day what would you do?
I would equalize the whole of economic struture, structure a health care that would provide for the same basic coverage for each and every person. Eliminate the death penalty, these people being the primary ones left in prison, require restitution in most criminal situations and make prisons for murderers, rapists, child violators, those who violate another's person.
